10 Sure ways to make money as a Nigerian student (both online and offline).

  There are so many ways of making money as a student in Nigeria both online and offline(physically). The only problem there is just that we are not exposed to the right information,people or environment. Like they say the rich mingle with the rich while the poor mingles with the poor there by there is no proper sharing of knowledge thereby making the rich more richer, and the poor more poorer. The bridge is not created.

   Buh good news fellas, I'm here to teach you how you can make money online as a student thereby saving you the stress of having to ask your parents or even beg your friends. Make yourself independent and financially stable. 

   Normally, I know for you to open this page, you must be a student that wants to be financially stable and free so don't worry I gat you covered.

- First on the list, Affiliate marketing. I'm pretty sure you have heard of this affiliate marketing so many times but you don't understand what it means, let me break it down for you. Affiliate marketing simply is when you sell someone's else product could be physical or digital product then you get a little commission for each sales that you make. This is a way to make money as a student all you have to do is get a company's product, sell and start earning cool cash could be digital product or physical product. You don't necessarily need to have the product physical but that's for digital product. Affiliate marketers are like middle men to a product, they make the product or services know to potential customers from there making their own little profit.

- Second one on the list, Blogging: You can start making money as a student by blogging. Aslong as you have a smart phone, data connection and your information, you are good to go. Personally, I will advice you as a student to consider blogging because it doesn't take much to become a blogger. You can become a Twitter blogger, Instagram or any social media app that you already have a little fan base on. How to earn by becoming a blogger on social media, just post consistently , and your post should have meaning and also focus on one niche, you are good to go. Once you become consistent , brands will begin to notice you and you will start earning cool cash because now you are posting constantly, they now know you are a real person and they also see you have engagement on your post, they will want to make deals with you from there my friend, your money is entering. Lol

 - Building / starting your own brand: This is for those of us that learnt a particular skill before entering the university walls could be hairdressing, catering, event planner, tailoring or fashion designer there are so many name it. If you learnt one of these or any skill, my dear friend you did yourself a great favour because you see in school, these services will be needed. Your only job is to know the job well so you don't waste someone's money(whoever gave you the job). 

One thing I have observed as a student in the university is that students like helping themselves. I'm sure you must have noticed that whenever your friend brings any of her business to you either maybe she sells perfume or clothes, you will want to patronize her, same thing applies to you. You learnt something, use it to make money in School your friends will patronize you. Remove that doubts you are having.

- Becoming a virtual assistant: First let me explain who a virtual assistant is. A virtual assistant just as the name implies is an assistant to his/her boss both business is done virtually(online). They act as personal secretary to the boss and payment is always involved  Different companies are coming out everyday mostly in the digital world and they are in search of capable assistant who can help them with the work of a Secretary like sorting of mails and so on. Search on sites like LinkedIn or Upwork and get yourself a job.

- Starting up a YouTube channel: Does your phone camera capture good shots? Do you enjoy making videos? If your answer to these questions are yes, then my dear you might have a calling for YouTube buh you are waiting for the right post for it to manifest. You can start earning money from YouTube aslong as your answer to both question above are yes. To get monitized on YouTube all you have to do is get 1000 subscribers and 4000 watch hours and you are good to go might sound easy buh you need to put in a lot of work. Rome was started in a day buh not finish in a day. Consistency is key.

- Starting a nanny job: Nanny are personal assistants that help in taking care of either children or old adults needs and then they get paid for their service. For cases of children, nanny help children that don't know their left from their in their daily activities while their parents are away either at work or vacation. Nanny's help parents keep their children safe while they are away. Then we have old adults nanny. These nannys take care of old parents that can't do anything for themselves then they get paid. In general, you get paid to take care of either these two. As a student, you can do it as a part time job.

- Teaching: As a student, you can consider teaching children or taking them on lessons on subjects and topics you know very well and understand. Pls don't teach what you don't know ooh. You can take this as a part time job to earn little cash. Meet busy parents and tell them you take children on lessons, they will be extra willing to leave their children for you since they are busy and are looking for where to keep their children. You can make cool cash teaching them.

- A social media influencer: I'm sure you already know the meaning of influencer from the name influence. Being able to change a person choice or persuadeing people non forcefully about something. You can earn money from social media by influencing brands product or even your affiliate product. Build your online presence, select you niche, get engagements, then you are good to go. Once brands see people like you and your content and you have good engagements on your post, they will start paying you to influence (advertise) for them.

 Being an agent on campus: Agents are people that showcase new house or lodges to newbie students in search of space or rooms where they can stay as an occupant. I remember when I entered school(university) newly, I really needed somewhere to stay because my people had to go back to lagos. The agent guy that took us around my lodge saw we were in a haste and added 50k extra charges minus lodge rent and the rest in total, we had to pay 250k. So imagine you were the guy, see massive cashout. Later I found out the lodge rent was actually 180 not even 200k. So you can make money on school campus by becoming a housing agent .
